Nokia N79 is the new N series phone from Nokia. Nokia N79 is a candy bar model phone and N79 was released on 2008, August. N79 is a Quad-band GSM and Dual-band 3G phone. At only 15 mm thickness and 97 grams weight, the new Nokia N79 give you many high tech features such as a large 2.4 inches TFT screen, Touch-sensitive Navigation wheel, Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate, Stereo speakers, A-GPS support which guides you while traveling, MP3/M4A/AAC/eAAC+/WMA player, FM transmitter, Stereo FM radio with RDS, TV out, Voice commands etc. On the connectivity side it has almost all the features - GPRS, HSCSD, EDGE, 3G, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB support etc. A microSD card slot is capable of handling 8GB cards and it is hotswapable ie you don't have to switch off the phone to insert or remove the card.
